Way back when, I posted about getting my first tattoo as a graduation present to myself, and last Friday I finally went out and got it!

I got my first tattoo yesterday at Painted Bird Ink in Somerville, MA. It's from Camus' "The Fall" and is the full line that a few people on here have a section of tattooed. I'd been thinking about getting this done forever, so I finally bit the bullet. It's a quote from the poem Morphology, or the study of morphing by Bob Hicok, who is one of my favorite poets. It's in my own handwriting.
